The Addis Ababa Food and Drug Authority Arada branch office held a discussion with stakeholders and various organizations regarding the introduction of the plan for the fiscal year and the evaluation of the implementation of the first quarter plan.

In the evaluation forum, the leaders of the office team presented the main activities carried out in the first quarter of the 2018 budget, the measures taken, the problems encountered, the estimated cost of 305,450 birr and the disposal of expired and damaged food, drinks and materials, as well as the detailed activities of the 2018 budget year plan for discussion.

Arada Food and Drug Branch Office Manager, Mr. Solomon G/Her, while explaining the ideas and opinions that arose from the discussion, said that we all need to serve the society by carrying out activities with good intentions, that institutions should not provide services without meeting the necessary standards, that we all need to work together to achieve results, and that the office should carry out the mandate and tasks given to it by strengthening control activities to protect the health of the community and  He stated that he will fulfill his role by taking appropriate action against institutions where deficiencies have been found.

Finally, certificates of recognition were presented to the stakeholders and health institutions who contributed in the 2017 fiscal year.
