Let's protect the health and safety of the community by preventing illegality!

The Authority conducted an evaluation of the 2018 budget plan and the work carried out by the members of the Health Control Forum in the first quarter of the year.

In order to make the control system of preventing illegality in all branches of the Authority more effective, the Authority established a Health Control Forum by making the community a part of the control and conducted an evaluation of the work carried out in the first quarter of 2018 with the members of the forum.

The Authority’s General Manager, Ms. Muluembebet Tadesse, who attended the forum and gave the opening speech, said that in addition to the work the Authority is doing in coordination with stakeholders to ensure the health and safety of the community, it has established various health inspection forums in all branch offices and has been able to provide training on food safety and hygiene to more than 2404 mothers and food inspection professionals working in school meals during the quarter. In addition, it has been possible to protect the health of the community by removing various spoiled and expired food and beverage products before they reach the community and cause health problems.

The General Manager said that the Health Control Forum has made a significant contribution to solving most of the problems of good governance, and the increase in suggestions from the community and stakeholders has increased the awareness of the public about health, and the fact that most of the community is becoming more cooperative in eliminating food and beverages exposed to the sun is an indication of the increase in the awareness of the community about health control.

The General Manager, who delivered her summary message during the first quarter review, recognized that the work of the authority is to protect the health of the community, and realized that the participation of the Health Control Forum is high, so that everyone can fulfill their responsibilities, and that we should work together to ensure that the work being done is effective and to maintain a healthy and productive society.
