Bole Branch Office Trains Over 498 School Nurses

The Bole Branch Office, in collaboration with the Education Office, trained over 498 school nurses in various schools on food safety and hygiene.

The Branch Office’s General Manager, Ms. Aleme Bacha, who attended the training and opened the event, said that the office is working with the Education Office to strengthen the capacity of school nurses working within the district to provide quality and safe food in addition to supervising the schools that provide food.

The training was given by Esther, Director of the Branch Office's Food and Beverage Facilities, and covered the importance of food and safety issues, ways of food contamination, food safety principles, personal hygiene, food hygiene and layout, and waste disposal.
