Addis Ababa Food and Drug Authority has conducted extensive awareness-raising activities in all private and public schools in the sub-city, based on the World No Tobacco Day, which is being celebrated for the 39th time globally and for the 34th time in our country under the theme "Let's expose the methods that expose people to nicotine and tobacco addiction!".
In all private and public school mini-media in all sub-city, awareness-raising education has been widely provided on the deceptive and hidden methods used by the tobacco industry to attract young people to addiction, the complex health effects of tobacco and the need to prevent them from becoming vulnerable to addiction. Students should have a knowledgeable mind, not be vulnerable to addiction.
