Addis Ababa Food and Drug Authority held an awareness-raising event in all sub-city squares where people gather, in line with the theme of World No Tobacco Day, which is being celebrated for the 39th time globally and for the 34th time in our country, under the theme "Let's expose the ways to nicotine and tobacco addiction!"
The main objective of the event is to provide awareness-raising education that includes messages about the complex health harm caused by tobacco, the economic and social crisis it causes, and the new hidden strategies used by the tobacco industry to attract young people to addiction.
The authority's leadership and experts visited the awareness-raising event being held in all sub-city squares.
