The performance of the half-year plan for the fiscal year was reviewed with the general staff.

The Deputy General Manager of the Regulatory Sector, Ato Enga Ereketa, who attended the forum, mentioned that the institution has carried out many works in terms of fulfilling the vision and mission given to it, and stated that it was a fiscal year in which it fulfilled its institutional responsibility by participating in social goodwill activities in addition to quality assurance and regulatory activities in the food and health sectors.
The General Manager also stated that in the past six months, a number of works have been carried out in tobacco control and in identifying products and services that pose the greatest risk to public health through a risk-based regulatory system and by establishing a self-regulation regulatory system.
Samson Legesse, an expert from the Planning and Budget Directorate of the Authority, presented the key performance indicators of the institution during the fiscal year, the work done to promote stakeholder participation, transparency and accountability, and other works as a basis for discussion.
Fiseha Abera, the Deputy General Manager of the Administration Sector of the Authority, who gave a concluding speech at the discussion, said that all employees of the institution should do their part by continuing the strengths identified at the forum and achieving the gaps identified in the plan for the next six months.
