The theme for this week’s "Golden Monday" discussion program, held every Monday morning at the Authority, was "Adwa Values for Universal National Resurgence."

Mr. Fisseha Abera, Deputy General Manager of the Administration Sector, presented a discussion paper detailing how the current generation can replicate Ethiopia’s historic victory at the Battle of Adwa in a modern context.

The presentation highlighted that the Victory of Adwa was not merely a military success but a testament to unity, leadership, and faith. It pointed out that the current generation must stand united behind a common goal to protect national sovereignty and achieve similar victories today.

Participants reflected on Ethiopia's current political, social, and economic challenges. They emphasized that, as citizens and civil servants, they should take the history of Adwa as a grand example by committing to education, enhancing skills, and engaging in ideas that strengthen the nation.

In conclusion, the leadership noted that Adwa is not just past history but a legacy for the current generation to live by. By bringing the spirit of Adwa into the present, the focus should shift from the battlefield to economic construction, job creation, technology, and knowledge-based competition. The senior management conveyed that strengthening institutionalism, improving service quality, and building public trust are the "victories" the modern generation is tasked to achieve to ensure national sovereignty through work and dedication.
