Addis Ababa City Mayor's Office conducted a monitoring and support exercise for the 4th quarter of the 2018 fiscal year with the Food and Drug Authority.

Addis Ababa City Mayor's Office, in coordination with the Support and Evaluation, Good Governance Complaints and Appeals, and Responsible Institutions and Project Monitoring sectors, conducted a monitoring and support exercise for the 4th quarter of the 2018 fiscal year with the Addis Ababa Food and Drug Authority.
The monitoring was conducted by assessing public benefit and participation, service speed and fairness, customer satisfaction, drug safety, health institutions and drug institutions' compliance with legal and quality requirements, as well as the effectiveness of technology and resource use through documentation and field observations.
According to the evaluation, it was observed that better performance was recorded during the fiscal year, key activities were carried out according to plan, and the accessibility of communication activities improved.
However, areas of focus have been set for improvement in the next term of office in monitoring and support, good governance, document preparation for the grievance redressal system, and information organization.
