The authority gave a briefing on the implementation of fingerprint work control in the field of human resource management, namely, the fingerprint work control system, which was received from the Addis Ababa City Administration and the Public Service and Human Resources Development Bureau.
Ms. Tsehai Demise, Human Resources Director of the Addis Ababa Food and Drug Authority, stated that the city administration should establish a fingerprint time control system that is transparent, participatory and accountable in line with the civil servants' proclamation.
She also stated that the aim is to establish a system of entry and exit work hours that is consistent with the work schedule of government offices, linking working hours with salary payments, and improving service delivery in government offices and increasing community satisfaction.
Ms. Tsehai also provided a detailed explanation of the fingerprinting work schedule, the functions and responsibilities of the institutions and leaders for its implementation, the functions and responsibilities of the director, coordinator and team leaders, and the complaint handling system.
In addition, she provided a detailed direction on how to properly organize and maintain information related to data management for general human resources staff.
