Addis Ababa Food and Drug Authority employees and leaders celebrated the 22nd International Anti-Corruption Day with the theme “Ethics for Generations; Institutions for Practices”.
The Authority’s Ethics Expert, Ms. Etenesh Tafaru, provided a detailed discussion on the nature of ethics, principles, sources of ethical standards, concepts, specific characteristics of corruption and crime, corruption prevention strategies, the state of the fight against corruption, favorable conditions and challenges for the fight against corruption, and the role of stakeholders.
Participants also expressed the need to conduct a coordinated anti-corruption fight by improving institutional practices, and the need for the ethics department to work more effectively.
