The Addis Ababa Food and Drug Authority has announced that it has started providing training to provide online services for the control sector through the integrated food and health care control software, which has been developed to improve human effort and procedures by changing the manual system of the control sector.
It was also stated that the training was a two-round practical training for the directorates, team leaders and experts from the center to the branches.
The authority’s ICT expert, Ato Sintayehu Mekonnen, explained that the training was a two-round practical training that showed how and in what way the system can be used to provide online control services to the directorates and experts in the control sector.
Mr. Sintayehu added that the training aimed to modernize the regulatory system by eliminating the manual process that was previously provided and making the regulatory activities completely online, establishing a better information management system, and providing efficient and fast service. He explained that the training will enter the operational phase after the training.
