In line with Ethiopia's national green footprint call to plant 800 million seedlings in one day, the leaders and employees of the Addis Ababa Food and Drug Authority, as well as its branch offices, jointly carried out the planting program in a bright manner.
The Authority's General Manager, Dr. Muembet Tadesse, was present at the launch program and stated that the participation of all citizens and institutions is crucial to strengthening the national green footprint effort. The General Manager, who pointed out that planting seedlings is not only a way to build a sustainable environmental heritage that will be passed on to the current generation but also to future generations, emphasized that continuous care and protection should be provided after planting so that the seedlings can flourish and grow.
It was noted that the participation of the public and workers in the program held on the day clearly demonstrated the commitment of Ethiopians to the nature and environmental protection of their country.
