Addis Ababa Food and Drug Authority Kolfe Branch Office, in collaboration with the Health, Community Participation and Charity Coordination Office, is providing free medical services to more than 2,000 members of the community who cannot afford medical treatment from July 28-29/2018.
In this charitable work, the Authority's Regulatory Sector Deputy Manager, Ato Enga Ereketa, Kolfe Sub-City Chief Executive Ato Tiwodros W/Michael, and senior leaders of the city were present at the site and launched the free medical service.
Colfe Food and Medicine Branch Manager Sr. Munira Negash said that through this free medical charity work, 9 health centers, 21 private health institutions, and 25 pharmacies are being coordinated and more than 200 doctors are involved in providing eye, dental, skin, and general health examinations and treatment to more than 2,000 community members who cannot afford medical treatment for two consecutive days. She also indicated that the patients are being provided with the necessary medicines free of charge and medical services are being provided.
